Frequently Asked Questions
Q:
How can you care for my prosthetics needs in my home?
Don't I need to come to an office? A: I have a well equipped car! I can come to your town in East Texas, to meet with you at your doctor's office, your physical therapy clinic, your hospital, or even in your home. I can consult with you to determine your needs and wants, and get your help in deciding a course of action. Then I can take impressions (casts), do measurements, etc. I will deliver the device to you, and make adjustments. As you change, or your needs change, I will make follow-up visits. Q: How do we get started? A: Call my 800 number, or contact me by e-mail. We'll talk about your prosthetic needs, and I'll get some basic information. I'll contact your doctor, and payment sources. We'll make arrangements to meet and consult, or get started. Q: When should I contact you?
Q: Why should I consider contacting you for my prosthetic needs? A: Many amputees in East Texas live far from a prosthetic facility. Getting a prosthesis is not a one visit operation. Consultations, fittings and adjustments take several visits. We unfortunately don't pull prostheses off a shelf somewhere! Each prosthesis is carefully made to fit only the one person for whom it is made. I can offer state-of-the-art products, excellent skills and quality, years of experience, and a friendly attitude. And you don't have to leave home!
